Today's Message : Love thy sister as she twas your best friend
Brothers and sisters, wow you guys must be thinking what type of post is this gonna be about. Well there was once this movie/tv episode i dont really remember but i watched it and it was about this male going into jail for something he didnt't do i.e. he was an innocent man. The story goes on about how he was framed and evidence was removed etc... etc... and his littler sister, spent something like 16 years, passing law school and becoming an attorney to try and fight his case and rising up in the ranks and finding the sufficient evidence in order to set him free. I mean would you guys spend 16 years of your prominent adulthood (about 30 years old). Would any of you do that for your brother/sister, spend that much time working, finding, calling, asking and studying in order to save your innocent brother from a lifetime in jail? I would.
Lets take this vietnamese saying about brothers and sisters:
Brothers and sisters are as close as hands and feet. ~Vietnamese Proverb
Are you close to your sister/brother? Have you ever thought about the pain that you would experience if you lost him/her. I am lucky to have an amazing brother, who cares and cherishes me. But i know of a lot of families in the children take each other for granted, and fight day in day out, disrespecting each other. Not saying at all, that this is the case for all families of course. But if i lost my brother, my life would definately not be the same. I love him for the guy he is and his a special one who shares the same genes/blood.
Enough about myself personally, but if the readers of this have a brother/sister consider doing something nice for them once in a while. Let them have the computer, tell them you love them, give them a hug and ultimately cherish them for their existence in your life. Talk to them, understand what they're going through and never take them for granted. For anything can happen to anyone, no one is immune. Love thy brother, love thy sister and you will reak great rewards.
Another thing, have you ever felt that your sister/brother is always fighting with you, or arguing about who gets the computer, who keeps the spare change, who does the chores blah blah.
Sometimes you might fight as if you guys were Worst Enemies, but you must know this is your own blood and sweat you are fighting with, and its not healthy to fight. Your brother/sister is YOUR brother/sister, they aren't strangers, you guys probably know the most about each other, your habits, what you like to eat, where you like to go, what you want for your birthday etc...etc... So in actual fact you guys are Best Friends.
I'll leave today's post a bit short.
But the main message is seriously, never take your own blood for granted no matter how deep and how bad it is. They are the most important things in our lives.
A special message to Tee.Dong wishing her happy birthday from the 11th , happy belated birthday this post is dedicated to you :)
