Being True to Yourself

I mean, seriously, what has happened to our society. Today a very confused lookign friend of mine repeatedly confirmed that she was a male, she was a male. I don't know what has gotten into her mind, but i am completely confuzzled about this. I mean how can someone clearly of one sexual nature ( male/female ) confuse their own sex?

Is this just a case of retardation or clearly a sense of mental immaturity. I don't know what to say to her, other than the fact that she's clearly got some problems distinguishing what is male and what is female...

Anyways onto today's topic "Being True to Yourself".

Being yourself is celebrating you, no one else in this world, you are in a world of your own, as an individual - learning to express yourself and being with who you are. For some people, it's learning to love yourself for others, it's not hiding who you are or changing things about you to fit in. It's letting people know of who you are and what your personality is and making them understand who you are and what your goal in life is. You shouldn't need to change anything about you at all, in order to establish a friendship or a relationship, if they trule enjoy your company the natural "you" will be enough. So read on to know how to express the inner you.

Accept everything about yourself--I mean everything, You are you and that is the beginning and the end--no apologies, no regrets.
Clark Moustakas

This is truly a great, great quote to build learn and build from. How many of you dislike what you look like, and could at least name 1 thing to improve abuot yourself? Probably everyone would say maybe at least 1 thing to at least 10 things. Seriously your never going to change who you were born to be physically. Your body was born how it is and will stay how it is. All this fuss about plastic surgery etc...etc... sometimes really gets on my nerver, i mean it's useless if you can't change who you are personally.

Being true to yourself involves tremendous courage. If you lack that courage, you fake it. You fake it when you fool yourself into believing in something simply because it makes you feel good, or makes you feel secure, or real, and this is part of the ignorant blisss you surround yourself with when you are not true to yourself. When you are not true to yourself and you lack that courage, you are unable to appreciate yourself and eventually take yourself for granted.

Being true to yourself requires guts and grits to actually look closely at everything, because now you are no longer satisfied by fooling yourself. You've done that and it has boomeranged on you. It's now time to get on with YOUR life in a more mature and intelligent way, to be true to yourself for a change rather than being true to some authority that tells you what to think. Part of being true to yourself is finding the courage to stand up. Never ever, let anyone change what your mind believes is true, you must utilize your own strength and stand up for yourself.

The greatest "Human Glory" in life is never falling, but in rising everytime we fall.

If You know and love "yourself" for who you are then it should be effortless to be true to yourself, your peers and the people you revolve around in society. Becoming who you are should be the greatest journey in your life. You are special to everyone else because you are unique. The only thing that us human beings in this world have in common "Is that we are different".

Being different should be the greatest glory in life. We only find commalities in our hobbies/likes/habbits but not too much in the way of ourselves, and how we tackle being ourselves. Everyone will have a different approach in the way that they see themselves, and everyone will have a different approach in the way that they believe in themselves. It is this that makes people different in society, and makes each person unique in their own way.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
Dr. Suess

To end off.

Once the awakening begins, once you begin being true to yourself, then the freedom you feel can only be described as utterly and literally amazing. An awakened existence as if you have been reborn into a brave, new world, as a completely new being in the same body. The false security that once was your life and drugged you into an absoloute oblivion is now replaced by a piercing awareness, purity and intelligence that carries you to ultimate freedom. Nothing can compare to this - everything else is child's play, children's fairytales.

This is your world now, take it by the stranglehold and live it to the max

  1. Remember, with any cosmetic plastic surgery there can always be risks and complications that can occur related to infection or a reaction to anesthesia. But with precautions by the surgical team, complications are typically minimized or prevented. Make sure you ask all the right questions as to what to expect before and after your surgery.
